Across the summer of 2024, Bristol Circus City are working with Filwood Community Centre to bring brilliant live circus to South Bristol. This new programme is a way for us to work outside of our normal festival model and bring moments of awe and joy to Bristol’s communities.
So far we have hosted free family workshops and a free performance of Tit for Tat‘s show Books! as part of Knowle West Fest.
Next up we are excited to announce a pop up performance of Foley by Collective ConTakt. Foley will be coming to Filwood Wednesday 10th July as part of Circus Around And About 2. This means that we were able to invite them to Filwood for a pop up performance that otherwise would not be coming to Bristol.
About the show:
Foley is a thrilling contemporary circus show for all ages, brought to you by Collective ConTakt
Foley explores the highs and lows of togetherness, with exquisite live music, performed by a musician and five acrobats.
Foley is full of surprises, touching on themes of vulnerability and trust with light-hearted, playful silliness.

Collective ConTakt are a circus collective specialising in high level acrobatics and live music.
The group have their roots in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France and the UK, and are touring Foley to outdoor venues across the south-west this summer. With support from Circus Round and About they are touring the South West this summer.
